Wedding and a Funeral

It's been a while since I have posted because I have yet again been out of town.  I wen to stay with my family in NLR for almost a whole week for a funeral of a close family friend.  Even my brother, who lives in Florida made the trip, which is why I stayed extra time.  Nick Bacon, who worked with my dad was a Congressional Medal of Honor recipient for his duty in the Vietnam war.  If you don't know what that is, it is the highest honor you can recieve for military service.  He had some crazy stories from war, and great man who loved the Lord.
Before the funeral, and on a more fun note, I went to a wedding here in Fayetteville at the Pratt Place barn. The most unique wedding I have been to yet.  A true southern wedding.  The invitation requested girls to wear white dresses and boys to wear overalls.  No shoes were preferred.  It was  complete with a blue grass band, fried chicken, and horse back riding.  Here are a few pictures:

Me and my hubby, you can't tell from this pic, but I look country themed in dress too.

My good lookin husband and in-laws.

While visiting my family we went on a little journey to the Ouchita Mountains.  Arkansas is extremely under-rated for being a good vacation place, if you like the outdoors at least.  I think it is beautiful here.
