Since I've Been Gone

I haven't blogged since Christmas?!  Sorry.  No excuses.
Since I have been gone from the blog world...
I have gone back to school.  I am working on my MAT to teach middle school. I can be teaching this time next year if all goes according to plan.
We became home owners.  That takes a lot of time.
We just got back from an anniversary trip (3 years!) to the British Isles
And a lot more... those are the hi-lights.

I'll start with a trip re-cap, which will take a few days.

We flew into Dublin, Ireland

This isn't the best picture, but here we are in the airport.

This is St. Patrick's cathedral, named for the St. Patrick that we celebrate on March 17.  Although I am sure that the real St. Patrick didn't know about Leprechauns or pinching someone not wearing green.



In Dublin we went to some of the main tourist attractions.   This is Christ Church Cathedral.  It has been around since 1080!















We had to visit the Guinness Storehouse, where all the world's supply of Guinness is made.  This area of town is so large it has its own hospital, fire dpt, etc, its like its own city.




The Brazen Head pub, est. 1198.  Its claim to fame is its Ireland's oldest pub.
