We spent our last day in Ireland visiting Killarney national park.
We toured Ross Castle in the park, we weren't aloud to take pictures inside. Sorry.
On the little island is an old monastery from the 1200s!
Then onto Scotland! Scotland was our favorite. We thought it was the prettiest and the people were the nicest, and Edinburgh, the capital was our favorite city so far.
While we were in Edinburgh the Fringe festival was going on, the city's population doubles for this festival. Its the biggest arts festival in the world. Here is some street entertainment from the Fringe.
We spent a lot of time walking around the city, looking at sites. All of the buildings are really beautiful and so old. The "new town" section was built in the 1700s.
This is Arthur's seat, set in a park right outside the city. I climbed that thing in a dress and my toms.
This guy was on stilts in a kilt on the top. Hilarious. He never cracked a smile.
Scotland beauty.
We went on a night time "ghost tour". It was really fun. The tour guide was hilarious. And I learned a TON of history. I won't bore you though.
And on the next post, I will finish this trip. Whew.
