I haven't blogged since August 6?! Why do I even have this thing?
Here are my excuses- I don't like to post blogs without pictures and I haven't taken any pictures in a long time. I should probably start. And I haven't felt like I have had much that is interesting to say, but since August 6 I can come up with a lot.
I will start with just a few things....
Michael started school and got a new job! Yay Michael! He is only taking one night class on Mondays called Personal Spiritual Disciplines. He was going to go back to school full time and keep his part time job at Theo's at night. But then a great job opportunity fell into his lap so he went for it and got it! He works for Northstar Partnering Group a research and marketing company. More specifically he is an account manager for Field Agent- have and iphone? check it out- you could even get paid!
The job search for me is still on, and going at a much slower pace. Now that Michael is working full time I don't feel pressure to get a random job that I wouldn't like. In the meantime I am helping out with some kiddos in my apartment complex 4 mornings a week- and I love it! I am also volunteering at Loving Choices, a crisis pregnancy center. I counsel girls that come in for pregnancy tests and coach them through options if the tests are positive. I hear some sad stories, but I get to share hope with these girls, I really enjoy it.
